As guests of The St. Regis Washington, D.C., families are invited to join Anthony Rivera, a journalist and writer who has resided in the capital for over 20 years, for an unforgettable half-day tour. At 10:00am, the journey begins. A taxi (or private car upon request) will transport guests to The National Sculpture Garden where Anthony will take them through the works of globally acclaimed artists such as Hector Guimard and Roy Lichtenstein. The tour continues in the Butterfly Room at the National History Museum, where families will enjoy a meeting with the curator who will share what it takes to keep a living, breathing and flying exhibit of butterflies. Finally, arrive at the Foggy Bottom for lunch where the famous soda fountain pharmacy, located on the campus of the George Washington University, promises to cure all ails. Meet the owner, Jeremy Pollock, and explore all three floors of the restaurant. As the experience comes to an end, return to the hotel where a restful night’s sleep awaits and breakfast is served in the morning for the entire family.
